In the winter of 1989, Apostles Daniel and Cereda Rispress were spending their last week in Los Angeles, California. They went to a church in Banning, California to minister for the mother of Andre Crouch. At the end of that service, Elder Lucius Jones, now a Pastor, prophesied to Apostles Daniel and Cereda that they would return to the East Coast and have a learning institution. He also said that people would come from far and near to learn. He said I wish I could attend myself. Since that time there were other prophecies, dreams and words of encouragement. In August of 1997, God spoke to Apostle Cereda Rispress in a dream. She dreamed that she was in an Amphitheater with theater style seats. Her cousins (Connie, Carolyn and Gretchen) were among the many faces that had come to hear the prophets speak a word from God. Everyone knew to be quiet as they waited for the voice of God. As they waited, the main prophet called Cereda out. As she stood, he pointed his finger at her and said, I see dollars, dollars and dollars. You have labored long without the funds you needed and you have not let dollars be your focus. I am going to give you dollars for souls. After this, came a minor prophet. He laid his hand upon her shoulders and she waited to hear from God again. The words, the swelling in your feet is water. That was all that was spoken and she awoke from the dream and pondered what she had dreamed. She understood that the place was a Prophecy Center where saints came to experience the manifested presence of God by hearing what the Lord said. As she continued to hear from God, He began to make things clearer. He revealed the meaning of Revelation 19:10b, which is the theme of the school, The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. This gave Apostle Cereda the faith to move forward in establishing the school and its curriculum. After receiving the dream and revelations, Apostle Cereda fell on her face in prayer one day and asked God, "What do you want me to do with what you have been saying? Just tell me and I will do it." He said, "Call the prophets (Daniel Rispress, Mary Bean, Ronald & Sybil McNabb and Bennie Harold) together!" When she did they all responded favorably. They began meeting at her home, then different churches. The group grew as the prophetic word was taught. They knew they needed to be stable so they began meeting at the Driving Park Library on Livingston Avenue in Columbus Ohio and soon outgrew that space. During the same year, a prophecy was given by Nola Kocher. This gathering will meet in a house with open areas for classrooms. Pastor Susan Ridley heard about this word from the Lord, and suggested that they move into the house that was owned by Trevitt New Life Ministries. This worked very well until they began to outgrow it as well. The number of classes also increased. In 2004, Principal Michelle Myles opened the doors of Southmoor Middle School on Monday evenings, which allowed classrooms to be open and available to use. Later a fee was charged for the class room space. Once a year the school sponsors a Convening on the last weekend in June. This is a time for students to graduate, be promoted, hear the spoken word, speak what they have learned, and be prophesied to. Everyone is welcome to attend. The next term will start in September. You may call 614 445 0877 to register.
